Stories are a fabric in my life. From as far back as I can remember, amazing stories with beautiful lessons were always told. From “The Giving Tree” to “The Velveteen Rabbit”, as a little girl I knew stories had value.Even as a teenager reading stories was sometimes an escape from my life, and also recognition of what I was going through. Judy Blume made me laugh and cry all at the same time!
Something interesting happens in adult life more often than not: reading stories ends. Or more accurately the only stories we see on the news. And those stories aren’t my favorite!
My career has been about people knowing and owning their stories. Being an expert in influence, personal power, and self-worth, I have always utilized clients story to show them who they are. Teaching how to tell a personal story to create buy in and influence others. Rewriting your own stories to step into your power and truly know and are excellent. And understanding how self-worth is an internal process and your story has led you to greatness.
All stories, no matter how big or small can have a powerful impact on me, you, and others around us. Sometimes we don’t even know how our stories are touching or impacting people.
Because my expertise is transforming lives, I wanted to bring together a series of books that would demonstrate and support others. Unscripted stories will do just that.

Designer, Technology Guru
I’m an artist, author, explorer and retired business owner. Mostly though, I am curious. I LOVE figuring out why people act that way. I LOVE breaking things to figure out how they work and how to fix them. I LOVE new technologies and gadgets and discovering how to help others use them more creatively. That LOVE of technology and puzzles combined with my artistic talents make developing the cover design, interior layout and typographiy for these books great fun, as is figuring out the ins and out of the publishing process.
Add to all that my LOVE of words, books, reading, and (yes, I’ll admit it) writing make this project a perfect combination for me. Like that perfect bite of a favorite meal…the exact balance of flavors that makes my senses hum. There must be a word for this – toothsome is close but not quite it. I will keep looking.
Funny thing though (OK, maybe not so funny, it’s just the damn truth) I am done trying to do something because someone says I should! And I have earned the right to live playfully and messily.
